Alden Meléndez (born in 1985 in Punta Gorda, municipality of Santos Guardiola) is the eldest son of the Meléndez Calderón family. He attended primary school at José Santos Guardiola School in his hometown and later moved to the city of La Ceiba to complete his secondary education at San Isidro Institute.
He is the father of two daughters, with whom he enjoys spending his free time. In 2006, he began working at Multiservicios del Caribe as a graphic designer, driven by his interest in technology. During his time there, he gained skills in creating banners, business cards, and more. In 2010, he joined the tourism sector at Mahogany Bay, one of the island’s ports, where he discovered his passion for landscape photography. In 2016, he worked as a tour coordinator at Carambola Gardens, an experience that inspired him to become an entrepreneur and his own boss.
Since 2018, Alden has focused on entrepreneurship in the field of photography, taking on challenges in a market that was relatively unexplored on the island of Roatan. Currently, he has established himself as one of the most renowned photographers on the island, specializing in events such as weddings, family moments, interior and exterior photography, real estate, and aerial photography. His goal is not only to capture the appearance of things but also to convey emotions through his images.
